Kate Beckinsale is revealing herself to be one of films’ most versatile and charismatic actresses. Beckinsale recently wrapped production on the thriller “Contraband” opposite Mark Wahlberg. She was last seen in the independent dramas “Snow Angels” opposite Sam Rockwell, and in the dark comedy “Everybody’s Fine” opposite Robert Deniro and Drew Barrymore. That same year, she also starred in the independent political drama “Nothing But The Truth” opposite Alan Alda and Matt Dillon, which garnered her great recognition for her accolade worthy performance. ?While attending Oxford University studying French and Russian literature, Beckinsale starred in Kenneth Branagh’s “Much Ado About Nothing” opposite Emma Thompson.
Beckinsale’s additional film credits include the Disney epic “Pearl Harbor” opposite Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett, “Serendipity” opposite John Cusack, “Laurel Canyon” opposite Christian Bale, and the Academy award winning film “The Aviator” opposite Leonardo Dicaprio.
India Eisley (Eve) stars as “Ashley Juergens” in ABC Family’s #1 Teen Drama and Teen Choice Award winning television series, “The Secret Life of an American Teenager,” now premiering its 3rd season in March 2011. The daughter of actress Olivia Hussey and musician David Glen Eisley, India attributes her early childhood experiences on film sets and in recording studios for igniting her passion for acting and love of films.
Following his breakout role in “Barbershop” and “Barbershop 2”, Michael Ealy (Detective Sebastian) went on to earn a Golden Globe nomination for his role in the critically acclaimed Showtime series “Sleeper Cell”. He starred in Spike Lee’s WW2 feature “Miracle At St. Anna” and Will Smith’s “Seven Pounds.” Ealy has played starring roles in Sony Screen Gems’ “Takers”; Fox Searchlight’s “Never Die Alone”; and Tyler Perry’s “For Colored Girls”, for which he received a NAACP Image Award nomination and won Best Supporting Actor from the African American Critics Association.
UNDERWORLD 4 is helmed by Swedish directors Mans Marlind & Bjorn Stein, who co-directed the 2009 thriller “Shelter” starring Julianne Moore and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Their feature credits also include the award-winning Swedish film “Storm”.
Producing are Tom Rosenberg (“The Lincoln Lawyer,” “Million Dollar Baby,”), Gary Lucchesi (“The Lincoln Lawyer, “Million Dollar Baby,” “Underworld”), Len Wiseman (“Underworld,” “Live Free Or Die Hard”) and Richard Wright (“The Lincoln Lawyer,” “Underworld”). The film’s executive producers are David Kern (“The Lincoln Lawyer,” “Fame”), David Coatsworth (“John Adams,” “Grey Gardens”) Henry Winterstern (“Conan The Barbarian,” “Underworld Evolution”) and Skip Williamson (“Underworld: Rise of the Lycans,” “Crank”).
The talented behind-the-scenes team includes cinematographer Scott Kevan (“Death Race,” “The Losers”), Genie award-winning production designer Claude Pare (“Barney’s Version,” “Night At The Museum”), Academy Award nominated costume designer Monique Prudhomme (“Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus,” “Juno”), and editor Jeff McEvoy (“Wonderland,” “The Lincoln Lawyer”).

Underworld 4 Awakening Plot
The movie Underworld 4 will be officially titled Underworld 4 Awakening, and here's the first plot synopsis:

The film is directed by Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein and is starring Kate Beckinsale, India Eisley, and Michael Ealy. The release ate of Underworld 4 Awakening is set for January 20, 2012.

So if it’s neither a prequel nor a reboot, then we may expect a normal sequel that pick up where the story left in Underworld 2. Anyway, more plot details of Underworld will probably leak online sooner or later.

Let’s hope there will be as much action as in the previous films.
We don’t know yet if Michael Sheen, Bill Nighy and Rhona Mitra (or Kate Beckinsale who played in previous Underworld movies) will be back for this fourth Underworld movie. But we may fairly bet that at least Michael Sheen and Bill Nighy will be back to reprise their roles.
Underworld 4 will jump in the 3D bandwagon: this promises gorgeous fight scenes between Lycans and Vampires in Underworld 4!
No word yet about the plot of Underworld 4 (prequel or sequel?), so feel free to make suggestions below!
Underworld 4 Movie
Production of Underworld 4 has been delayed, and the release has been pushed back to January 20, 2012.
But at least it's now confirmed that Kate Beckinsale will return as vampire warrior Selene. Screen Gems and Lakeshore Entertainment also announced that Swedish directors Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein will helm the Underworld 4.
ScreenGems and Lakeshore are developing a fourth Underworld movie, so the feud between Lycans and Vampires will explode again. Underworld 4 will be shot in 3D and it's most likely a sequel, Producer Tom Rosenberg was already talking about it two years ago:
"When we did the 1st 'Underworld,' we imagined three - the 1st one, a sequel and then a prequel. The 3rd is a prequel, so the 4th would carry on where Kate and Scott Speedman left off after 2."

Rosenberg's quote is a bit dated, but more recently, Scriptwriter John Hlavin, who has been hired to write the script of Underworld 4, kind of confirmed that Underowrld 4 would be a sequel:
"I can tell you it’s not a prequel. It will satisfy old fans and excite new audiences, meaning that we don’t want to redo the first three movies, so steps are being taken to honor what fans have loved but at the same time introduce fresh elements."

I hope Underworld 4 to be a direct sequel to Underworld 2: we'd see with Selene (Kate Beckinsale), who's more powerful than ever, and Michael Corvin (Scott Speedman), who's now a mighty hybrid, trying to clean up the chaos created by the death of the Elders.
Unfortunately this is still speculation, nothing official yet, but plot details of Underworld 4 should surface online quite soon! We will then have a better idea of what to expect in the movie Underworld 4.
