Storyline

Welcome to the Hotel Transylvania, Dracula's (Sandler) lavish five-stake resort, where monsters and their families can live it up, free from meddling from the human world. But here's a little known fact about Dracula: he is not only the Prince of Darkness; he is also a dad.

Over-protective of his teenage daughter, Mavis, Dracula fabricates tales of elaborate dangers to dissuade her adventurous spirit. As a haven for Mavis, he opens the Hotel Transylvania, where his daughter and some of the world's most famous monsters - Frankenstein and his bride, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, a family of werewolves, and more - can kick back in safety and peace. For Drac, catering to all of these legendary monsters is no problem - but his world could come crashing down when one ordinary guy stumbles on the hotel and takes a shine to Mavis.

Dracula, who operates a high-end resort away from the human world, goes into overprotective mode when a boy discovers the resort and falls for the count's teen-aged daughter.

Hotel Transylvania is an upcoming animated movie directed by Jill Culton for Sony Pictures Animation. The film is based on a script by Don Rhymer. It will be released in theaters on September 21, 2012. Here's a first official plot synopsis of Hotel Transylvania:

Samurai Jack's Genndy Tartakovsky directs this animated tale concerning a hotel where monsters such as Dracula (Adam Sandler), Quasimodo (David Spade), Frankenstein (Kevin James), and his bride (Fran Drescher), along with a host of others, head to relax from a world full of humans. Who said being born mortal enemies had to stand in the way of romance? Anyway, let's hope that pictures of the film and maybe a first teaser will be released soon.
